Charles E. Thompson, 90, passed away Sept. 12, 2007, at his home in Whittier, Calif.
Charles was born Feb. 5, 1922, in Vickery. He worked at Apex until moving to California in the early 1950s.
He is survived by twin daughters, Mary Ann Thompson Rapp of Bristol, Tenn., and Ruth Ann (Troy) Tackett of Sandusky; two sons, Larry (Nancy) Ramey of Orange, Calif., and Gail (Evelyn) Ramey of George Town, Texas;17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Coonrod, Kathryn (Gordon) Roach ofFremont and Betty Gschwind of Clyde; and many nieces, nephews and a lovely friend, MarthaMazzone of Whittier.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances (Ramey) in 2001; son, Charles E. Thompson Jr. in 1945; mother, Alice Thompson in 1986; father, John Thompson in 1966; and a brother, Don H. T. Thompson in 1994.
A celebration of life gathering for family and friends will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Holy Angels Gathering Space, 428 Tiffin Ave., Sandusky.
