Ann C. Sands, 84, of Sandusky, died Monday evening, Nov. 19, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center, following a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 16, 1922, in New Martinsville, W.Va., and lived in Sandusky since 1984.
She was employed as church secretary at First Christian Church, Sandusky, and as bookkeeper at Nath Petroleum, Sandusky, until recently. Ann was a member of First Christian Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Ernie) Czekaj of Castalia and Anita (Richard) Nath Krupp of Sandusky; one son, Michael (KateNealon) Sands of Lewis Center, Ohio; five grandchildren, Ken (Erin) Czekaj, Vicki (Mark) Ingalls, Rolland (Diana) Nath, Margarette (Carlton) Carver and Matthew Sand; and nine great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren C. Sands in 1984; her parents, Albert and Lillian (Riggenbach) Cochran; and one brother, Albert "Bud" Cochran.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Friday until funeral services at11 a.m. in First Christian Church, 3410 Hayes Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Don Linn will officiate. Graveside committal services will be at2 p.m. Saturday in NorthviewCemetery, New Martinsville.
