Michael F. Adams, 60, of Huron, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, in Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk, following a brief illness.
He was born May 27, 1947, in Cleveland and was a resident of Huron for the past 30 years.Mr. Adams was employed as a truck driver for Lakeway Manufacturing in Huron and previously was employed as a firefighter for the City of Cleveland. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Vietnam.
Mr. Adams enjoyed fishing,gardening and reading.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Bloedorn; brothers, Allyn Adams of Lakeland, Fla.; Donald Adams of Columbus; sister, Doris Black of Corbin, Ky.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Agnes (Polomsky) Adams.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Saturday until memorial services at 11 a.m. in Wyers Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Road, Sheffield Twp., Ohio. The Rev. Dr. Linwood H. Chamberlain Jr., pastor of First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lorain, will officiate. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
Military honors to be conducted by Disabled American Veterans Post 20 in Lorain.
