FORT MEADE, Fla.
Dolores Jean (Klein) Jagel, 70, of Fort Meade, Fla., and formerly of Sandusky, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, in Good Shepherd Hospice, Lakeland, Fla., after a lengthy illness.
She was born Dec. 28, 1936, in Sandusky, and enjoyed taking care of her family and home. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Eagles Club.
Three daughters, Debra Sue Jagel of Sandusky, Ann (Gonzalo) Carrizal of Plant City, Fla., and Rebecca (Burton) Purcell of Sandusky; three sons, Steve (Fran) Jagel, Don (Deborah) Jagel and Richard Jagel, all of Sandusky; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren survive her.
Her husband, Robert M. Jagel, who died July 16, 2005; her parents, Elston and Wanda (Werner) Klein; six sisters, Lela Fritz, Betty Rooney, Martha Hackworth, Cora Maldonado, Lois Klein and Flo Liebach; and a brother, Harold Klein, preceded her in death.
Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
