Beverly Burkhart, 83, of Sandusky, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 26, 1924, in Farner, Tenn. She was a volunteer at the Erie County Senior Center for more than 25 years, and loved gardening, flowers and canning.
She is survived by her son, Jack L. (Mary Alice) Williamson of Fireside, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Jane Hart; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Herb Bryson of LaSalle, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lake Burkhart in 1999; son, James F. Williamson; sisters, Beatrice Bryson in infancy, Inez Fraker and Dorothy Bryson; and a brother, David Bryson.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, and from 1 p.m. Wednesday until funeral services at 1:30 p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, 4511 Galloway Road, Sandusky. Bishop's First Counselor Thomas Glass will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
