Marjorie Ann (Laessle) Cullen, 77, of Sandusky, died Friday afternoon, Nov. 16, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.
She was born Feb. 12, 1930, in Sandusky, the daughter of Fred and Leona (Berner) Laessle. She was a 1948 graduate of St. Mary High School, and retired from Chrysler Plastics Corp. in 1991. Marjorie was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, and enjoyed bingo and watching sports, especially the Cleveland Indians. She truly loved being with her family, especially the grandchildren.
Four sons, Craig (Kathy) of Holgate, Ohio, Chris (Debbie) of Castalia, and Mark (Rhonda) and Jeff of Sandusky; one daughter, Kim (Jim) Cecil of Lewis Center, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Cullen; and several nieces and nephews survive her.
Her husband, Charles, who died Dec. 22, 2006; parents; and a sister, Jean Thomas, preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where prayers will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Ave., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery.
