Ruby L. Koch, 81, of 7403 Ohio 113, Bellevue, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 14, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 12, 1926, in Monroeville and was employed at the former Farmers & Citizens Bank, Monroeville prior to being married. Ruby was a member of the Congregational Community United Church of Christ,Monroeville, and enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Eugene C. Koch; four children, Vicki (Joseph) Caranfa of Bellevue, and Beverly (David) Leibolt, Richard (Julia) Koch and Janice (Jeffrey) Schild, all of Monroeville; eight grandchildren; one great -granddaughter; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie (Koch) Clayton; and one brother, Leroy Clayton.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Saturday until funeral services at 11 a.m. in Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe St., Monroeville.
The Rev. Dr. Wayne Chasney will officiate. Burial will be in the North Monroeville Cemetery.
