Kenneth Brewster, 68, of Norwalk, died suddenly in his home on Monday afternoon, Nov. 12, 2007.
He was born April 13, 1939, in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from the University of Akron in 1962 with a degree in psychology. Kenneth served his country in the Army and was honorably discharged with the rank of 1st lieutenant in 1969. Pursuing his goal of serving others, he worked for the State of Ohio in the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation. Relocating from Akron to Norwalk in 1984, he joined the Erie-Huron Community Action Council in the Headstart program until retiring in 2001.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Enid (Jonas) Brewster of Norwalk; his daughter, Erika (Todd) Gault; his son, Todd Brewster, owner of EM's Software Plus; his daughter-in-law, Pam Brewster; and his grandson, Allan Beasley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, T. Wayne and Evelyn Brewster.
Friends may call from5-8 p.m. Thursday in Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday. Pastor Jason Voelp and Chris Thomas will officiate.A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Cemetery in Butler, Ohio.
