Wendell Keith Bray II, 27, of Sandusky, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, in University Hospital, Louisville, Ky.
He was born Oct. 6, 1980, in Springfield, Ohio, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1999. He was employed by Providence Hospital and Wal-Mart. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Stephanie Mayfield and stepfather, John L. Mayfield, both of Sandusky; daughter, Aspyn Jordyn Bray of Sandusky; brother, Marcus Brown of Louisville, Ky.; maternal grandparents, the Rev. Curtis and Dolores (Boulware) Brown of Sandusky; paternal stepgrandmother, Lucille Mayfield of Sandusky; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, four nieces, and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wendell Keith Bray I; stepbrother, Jonathan Mayfield; paternal grandparents, James and Geneva Bray; and paternal stepgrandfather, John H. Mayfield.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, with his grandfather the Rev. Curtis A. Brown officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund for Aspyn Bray, at U.S. Bank, 205 W. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, OH 44870.
