Mildred (Paulovich) Bors, 90, of Lorain, passed away Monday morning, Nov. 12, 2007, in Community Health Partners in Lorain after a brief illness.
She was born Oct. 19, 1917, in Johnstown, Pa., and moved to Lorain in the early 1940s. Mildred was employed in food service with the USS Steel Company in Lorain with 20 years of service. She was a member of St. Mark's American Serbian Orthodox Church in Sheffield Lake, Ohio. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, music and dancing and dining out.
She is survived by her two daughters, Violet Thompson of Lorain and MaryAnn (Carl) Walski of Huron; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Katherine Simerick of Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bors; a great grandson, Scott Walski; two sisters, Della Krotoski and Ann Ellis; three brothers, Nicholas, Mitch and Dewey Paulovich; and her parents, Lazar and Milica (Blitva) Paulovich.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second St., Elyria, where funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Lorain.
