William Scott Sidoti, 38, of Huron, was called home to be with the Lord, unexpectedly in his sleep, Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007.
Scott was born February 9, 1969, in Sandusky. He helped his father and uncles at the Evenbreak Cigar Store for many years, and was a wonderful caregiver to his grandmother, Agnes, before her passing. Well known for his pranks, he was the best at making light of a bad situation, and carried a genuine soft heart, loving his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Kay Kelly (William) Lawton of Huron; sisters, Kelli (Mike) Allison and Donna (Tom) Beihl, both of Sandusky, Billie (Bob) Pack of Huron, Margie (Mike) Waddington of Bradenton, Fla., and Tresia Toth of Kissimmee, Fla.; special nieces, Jordin A. Churchill, Liv M. Churchill and Rylee Allison; other nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, Jerrionne (Diane) Corder, Teresa (Roy) Terry and Betty Pretto, all of Sandusky, Francis "Junior" (Sheri) Sidoti of Fremont, Eunice Lewis, Phyllis Marker and Bobby (Dorothy) Kraft, all of Toledo, Charles Kraft of Germany, Vernice Mills of Arizona and Francis Stark and Johnny Kraft, both of Texas; special cousin, Chuck Sidoti; and several other cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and friend, William "Doc" Sidoti in 1998; stepfather, Terry Kelly in 1995; grandmother, Agnes "Toots" Eggleston in 2006; grandfather, Woodrow Eggleston in 1973; aunts, Doris and Janie; uncles, Joe Esser and Sam, Tony, Emile, Charles and Jimmy Sidoti.
Visitation was Monday in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where prayer services will be 9:30 a.m. today, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Marty Nassr will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
