Mary K. Dee, 72, of Sandusky, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born Oct. 14, 1935, in Sandusky, and was employed by Erie-Ottawa Guidance Center and the Family Court in Erie County. Mary was a member of the Toastmaster's Club, loved gardening and was a published poet.
She is survived by her mother, Evaden (Keegan) Dee of Sandusky; children, Kathleen McClure of Charlotte, N.C., Ann (Rick Bazzo) McClure of Broadview Heights, Ohio, Margaret (David) Ridings of Gibsonia, Pa., Mary Mick, Carterville, Ill., David (Amy) McClure, John (May) McClure, and Kevin McClure, all of Sandusky, Daniel (Denise) McClure of Colorado Springs, Col., Joseph McClure of West Chester, Pa., and Michael McClure of Bryon, Ohio; 29 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Dee of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Dee; and three grandchildren, Jeremiah Mick and two that were heaven born.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where prayer services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Marty Nassr will officiate.
