Mary Sue Irons, 71, of Bellevue, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, in The Bellevue Hospital.
She was born Nov. 20, 1935, in Alger, Ohio, and was the daughter of the now deceased Carl Dwight Pilkington Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Williams) Pilkington. Mary was a rehabilitative counselor for drugs and alcohol for the state of Ohio. She was raised in the Episcopal Church and attended Lyme Congregational Church. She enjoyed collecting and selling antiques.
Mary is survived by her two sons, Logan of Bellevue and Ross Jr. of Columbus; one daughter, Alicia Linquist of Sweden; 10 grandchildren; and brother, Carl Pilkington of Urbana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Julie S. Irons; and ex-husband, Dr. Ross Irons.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Lyme Congregational Church, Ohio 113 E., Bellevue.
Burial will follow at Strong's Ridge Cemetery in Bellevue.
