Shirley M. Matusiczky, 69, of Marblehead, passed away unexpectedly late Monday evening, Oct. 29, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.
She was born May 18, 1938, in Holland, Ohio. She was a homemaker and loved her family very much. She enjoyed playing cards, games, cooking, herbal gardening and caring for her flowers.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, married Sept.16, 1961, Kolman F. "Kal" Matusiczky; her family, Sandy (Tony) Dee of Sandusky, Kevin (Penni) Matusiczky of Clarkston, Mich., Ellen (Willie) King of Middletown, Ohio, Brian Matusiczky of Toledo, Fletcher (Kathy) Stevens of North Olmstead, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, Michael, Chrystle, Jay, Doug, Little Jessica, Matthew, Nathan, Jessica, Stephanie, Bobby, Nate, Zach and Sarah; brother, George (Helen) McGuckin of Toledo; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton Earl & Beulah Mae (Parker) McGuckin; three sisters, Dixie Connor, Gladys Ohlers, Cathy Watson; brother, Milton "Lucky" McGuckin.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Friday until services at 11 a.m. in Sandusky Baptist Temple, 3706 Milan Road, Sandusky. The Rev. Wally Gilbert, Rev. Roger Green and the Rev. Daniel Matusiczky will be officiating. Burial will be in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township, Ohio.
