Thomas S. Comstock died Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, in Medina.
Comstock was born Sept. 19, 1947, in Sandusky. For the last 32 years Tom made many friends and loyal customers as the owner of Comstock's Sewing & Vacuum Center in Medina. He was the co-founder of the Medina Train Show and was an avid boater, fisherman and scuba diver. Mr. Comstock was a 1965 graduate from Ashland High School. He also served in the U.S. Army as a medic during the Vietnam war from 1966-68.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Terrie (Palmer) Comstock; daughters, Mollie (Brian) Lockwood of Brunswick and Marcie (Tom Norton) Comstock of Medina; grandchildren, Connor and Kylie Lockwood; sisters-in-law, Mary (Bill) Ritchie and Barb Waggoner; brothers, Ronald and Kent M. Comstock and many nieces and nephews.
He wass preceded in death by his father, Chet Ronan in 1951; mother, Jane Comstock; adoptive father, James M. Comstock; and a son, Harry Comstock.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in Waite and Son Funeral Home, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St., Medina, where services will be 1 p.m. Saturday. Richard Kovac will officiate.
