Ann A. Brandt, 87, of Port Clinton, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton.
She was born May 17, 1920, in Port Clinton, the daughter of the late John and Annie (Stempnik) Marek. She married Harold G. Brandt, Sr. and he preceded her in death in 1968.
Ann was homemaker and was formerly employed at US Gypsum and Wilson Cabinet Co. he was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Polish National Alliance.
Surviving is her son, Harold (Gladys) Brandt of Port Clinton; granddaughter, Mindy Brandt of Port Clinton; and great-grandchildren Candace and Chase.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brothers, Walter and Bennie Marek; and sisters, Stella Chaffin and Julia Burnham.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton. Prayers will begin at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Wednesday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. The Rev. John C. Missler will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
