Patricia Rae Hoyt, 78, of Sandusky, formerly of Huron, died Thursday morning, Oct. 25, 2007 in Concord Care Nursing Home, Sandusky.
She was born Aug. 27, 1929, in Steubenville, Ohio. She worked as a supervisor for Ohio Bell in Columbus, a lifeline co-coordinator at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, Calif., and retired as a switchboard operator at Providence Hospital, Sandusky, in 1999.
She is a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Huron.
She is survived by four children, Susan (Paul) Spurrier of Sandusky, Michaele (Richard) Keller of Sandusky, Bo (Nancy) Hoyt of Westminster, Calif., and Kellie Hoyt of Balboa, Calif.; six grandchildren, Chip, Kate, Matt, Lauren, Heather and Hailey; and several cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond J. and Susan M. (Phillipson) Spellacy; and twin daughters, Pamela Ann and Penelope Ann Hoyt.
There will be a private family Mass to celebrate her life and honor her memory at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sandusky.
