Mary M. Bruner, 83, residing at the Community at Parkvue Health Care Center, Sandusky, died early Saturday morning in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, following a brief illness.
She was born Oct. 14, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo., to the late Edmond and Helen (Fehrenbach) McElligott. She was a member of New Life Fellowship, Hobbs, N.M.
She is survived by daughters Karen (Mike) Richardson of Boyd, Texas, and Rita (Don) Bratton, Hobbs, N.M.; sons, Dr. William D. Bruner of Huron, Michael (Jana) Bruner of Lodi, Calif., John (Dorothy) Bruner of Sandusky, and Dr. Paul (Robin) Bruner of Sandusky; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Barb (Jack) Fritz of Silver Springs, Md., and a brother: Edmond (Pat) McElligott of Independence, Md.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dr. William R. Bruner in 2006; and a sister, Geraldine Fritz.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Interment will be conducted Friday in Prairie Haven, Hobbs, N.M.
