Robert F. Goodman, 70, of Sandusky, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, at his residence.
He was born May 19, 1937, in Buffalo, N.Y. He was employed by Ford Motor Company in Lorain for 29 years, retiring in 1997. He ran the fishing charter, "Annie C," for more than 20 years; he was an airplane pilot, ran a trucking business, and was a member of the American Legion Post 83, Sandusky.
Robert is survived by his wife of 40 years, Anne C. (Krebs) Goodman, whom he married Oct. 6, 1967; his daughters, Catherine (William) Horine, and Christine (Crieg) Slisher; son, Robert (Patricia) Goodman Jr.; stepson, Joseph P. (Julie) Butler; stepdaughter, Theresa C. Butler; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, John Goodman, James Goodman and Thomas Goodman; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Elaine (Hibbard) Goodman; and stepson, Edward J. Butler in 1995.
There will be no visitation. Family services will be private.
