Glenn H. Burke, 76, formerly of Sandusky, died Oct. 8, 2007, in Tucson, Ariz., after a lengthy illness.
He was born Nov. 20, 1930, in Lakeside. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1990 after many years of service. Glenn and his wife Carol then moved to Tucson where he to remained active in the auto industry and politics.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol Ann Burke; three sons, Norman, Glenn Jr. and Scott Burke; three grandsons and three granddaughters; one sister, Dorothy Prokop; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Irene Burke; five brothers, Gordon, Fred, Albert, Bill and Norman Burke; two sisters, Betty Whiting and Barbara Wampler.
Private family services will be observed in Tucson. The Groff Funeral Home, Sandusky, is in charge of local arrangements.
