Harold M. Rapp, 72, of Sandusky, and formerly of New Lexington, Ohio, passed away Sunday afternoon, Oct. 14, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center at Firelands South Campus.
He was born Aug. 8, 1935, in New Lexington. He was employed at Plastic Molders Supply in Norwalk; Ranchview Gardens in maintenance; cleaned the offices of Dr. Drury and State Farm Insurance; and was also employed at Mack Iron Works from August 1974 until September 1994 until he became ill.
Harold married his loving wife Rosemary T. (Krieger) June 11, 1955, in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, and she survives him. He is also survived by his daughter, Theresa (Paul) Rogers; two sons, Timothy and Robert (Lynda) Rapp, all of Sandusky; two sisters, Helen Teply of Sandusky and Nora Montgomery of Galion, Ohio; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
His parents, Roman and Myrtle, and brothers George, Roman (Harold), Frank and Tom, preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where prayers will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, with the Rev. Marty Nassr officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
