Charles A. "Chuck" Morfier III, 51, of Bellevue, passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, in St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.

He was born on Oct. 16, 1955, in Bellevue, and is the son of Charles A. "Red" Jr. and Edith (Monarchi) Morfier. He was the owner of CAM III Construction in Bellevue. He married his loving wife Kathy (Fritz) on May 23, 1981, in Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue. Chuck is a 1974 graduate of Bellevue High School, a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue, Eagles Aerie 490, the Club Amer-Ital, 4-County Conservation Club and Knights of Columbus.

Along with his memberships, Chuck served as chairman of the Long Range Planning Committeeat Immaculate Conception Church; a member of the Building and maintenance committee at Immaculate Conception Church; Church Renovation Committee of Immaculate Conception Church; and the "United in Purpose, Renewed in Spirit Campaign".

He was also a member of the Redmen Booster 200 Club; volunteer at Harmon Field; former member of the Immaculate Conception School Advisory Council; was the recipient of the Fall 2005 CYO Booster Appreciation Award, which he shared with his wife, Kathy, a CYO sporting events volunteer; and 2006 recipient of the Distinguished Immaculate Conception School Graduate Award.

Chuck, most of all, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, camping, playing cards, vacationing with his family, carpentry, NASCAR racing and attending races at Attica Raceway Park.

In addition to his wife and parents; he is survived by his son, Andrew C. of Bellevue; a sister, Becky (Duane "Chip") Stahl, of Holland, Ohio; his loyal friend and co-worker, Mike Specht of Bellevue; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Sr. and Gertrude Morfier and Sam and Teresa Monarchi; his father-in-law, Francis X. Fritz; brother-in-law, Charles A. Fritz; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Sunday in Foos and Son Funeral Home, 311 W. Main St., Bellevue, where the Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday in Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue, with the Rev. Keith Stripe officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue CatholicCemetery.
