Frances E. (Camp) Grenier, 89, of Sandusky, passed away early Monday afternoon, Sept. 24, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
She was born March 25, 1918, in Huron, and retired in 1978 from New Departure-Hyatt, Division of General Motors, where she had worked for more than 20 years. She enjoyed playing cards. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Altar Rosary Society, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her family, Marleen (Ronald) Hofacker of Clyde, Randy (Lynn) Grenier, Diane (Paul) Cross and Christine Donaldson, all of Sandusky; six grandchildren, Beth, Jennifer, Amanda, Kevin, Emily and Jeffrey; sister, Marie Leser of Sandusky; nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman J. and Elizabeth (Wagner) Camp; husband, Phillip E. Grenier on Feb. 21, 1997; and brother, Vincent Camp.
At her request, visitation will be private. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Marty Nassr will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
