Sgt. 1st Class Wendy AnitaZsedenyi, 55, of Radcliff, Ky., died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, in her home.
She was born Oct. 19, 1951 in Sandusky and was a 1970 graduate of Sandusky High School. Sgt. 1st Class Zsedenyi retired from the U.S. Army and was working civil service at the U.S. Army Recruiting Command, Fort Knox, Ky. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, served as teasurer for the Friends of Recruiting Association and served on numerous committees to include the Annual Holiday Ball committee.
She is survived by her son, Brian Zsedenyi; grandson, Nathan Sidebottom; mother, Cherry Koester; brother, Michael Putt; and three sisters, Rosemary Hart, Susan Millhouse and Jamie Milner; three nephews, Zachary Millhouse, Matthew Milner and Andrew T. Putt; and five nieces, Monica Romes, Jennifer Zriegat, Megan Millhouse, Olivia Millhouse and Ashley M. Putt.
Wendy was interred at theKentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff.
