Nancy Louise (Craft) James, 65, of Huron, went to be with the Lord Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
She was born Sept. 19, 1941, in Manchester, Ky., to John and Mattie (Lewis) Craft. She was a 1957 graduate of Clay County High School and also attended Eastern State University in Kentucky. She married Bruce James Aug. 16, 1961, and he survives.
Nancy worked at New Departure/Delphi for 22 years, until her retirement in 1994. Following her retirement, Nancy worked at Wal-Mart as a customer service manager for 11 years. She was a member of The Chapel and loved serving the Lord. She was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bruce James; daughters, Sharon (Steve) Dircks and Jessica (Raymond) Enderle, both of Huron; son, Jeffrey (LaTonya) James of Berlin Heights; grandchildren, Shannon (Tye) Bloomingkemper, Rachel James, Danielle (Casey) Welschenbach, Emily Dircks, Andrew and Melissa Enderle and Anna and Luke James; great-grandson, Tristan Bloomingkemper; sister, Hilda Ann (Billy) Bowling of Manchester; brothers, Walter M. (Helen) Craft of Gary, Texas, Cecil J. (Elsie) Craft of Manchester and Tommy G. (Dee) Craft of Huron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mattie (Lewis) Craft; sisters, Loraine Craft, Callie Sibert and Marietta "BB" Wilson; and a brother, John H. Craft.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Services will be officiated by the Rev. Bill Schroeder at 11 a.m. Thursday in The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Road, Sandusky. Interment will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park Cemetery.
