Rosanna Alice (Goshe) Weyer, 75, of 2019 Putnam St., Sandusky, died Wednesday morning, Sept. 12, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 5, 1932, in Loudon Township, Ohio. She was a homemaker and volunteered as a playground attendant at Mills Elementary School in Sandusky. Rosanna was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed planting flowers, playing the accordion, sewing and crocheting.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew L. Weyer, whom she married Sept. 12, 1953; two daughters, Teresa (James) Sudlow of Ottawa, Ohio, and Beverly (Howard) Miller of Sandusky; three sons, Theodore (Nancy) Weyer of Ada, Ohio, Donald (Vickie) Weyer of Clyde and Joseph Weyer of Sandusky; six grandchildren, Theodore R., Edmund, Kristy Weyer, Nicholas Snyder, and Daniel and Sheena Miller; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Morgan Weyer; one sister, Alma (Larry) Hiller of Dola, Ohio; two brothers, Richard Goshe and Harold (Alma) Goshe, both of Fostoria, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Armina (Reinhart) Goshe; and three brothers, Gerald, Donald and Ivan Goshe.
Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Friday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where prayers will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
