N. Maxine Nusser, 78, of Homestead, Fla., and formerly of Norwalk, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, in Baptist Hospital, Miami.
She was born July 31, 1929, in Nortonville, Kan. She and her husband, W. Gene Nusser, were the original owners of Comet Cleaners in Norwalk as well as Colony Cleaners in Huron. She enjoyed playing solitaire and cards and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her four sons, Steve Nusser of Coral Gables, Fla., Gary Nusser of Mesa, Ariz., Michael Nusser of Surprise, Ariz., and Gregg Nusser of Phoenix; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Gene Nusser in 2005; parents, William and Ethel (Perkins) Allan; sisters, Marjorie and Winona; and brothers, Charles and Wayne.
Friends may call from 10:30-11 a.m. Saturday at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk, followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Fred Wiechers officiating.
