Marian E. Lippus, 87, of Sandusky, passed away late Tuesday evening, Sept. 4, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.
She was born April 26, 1920, in Sandusky and was a waitress for many years, first at Little Joe's and later at Franketti's. She was a member of First Christian Church and active at the Senior Center. Mrs. Lippus was an avid Cleveland Indians baseball fan and enjoyed watching game shows.
She is survived by two daughters, Pauline (Troy) Stacy and Ruth (Charles "Butch") Wagner, both of Sandusky; six grandsons, Bryan Wagner, Scott (Lisa) Wagner, Greg (Lisa) Stacy, Todd (Jill) Wagner, Mark (Mary) Stacy and Chad (Melinda) Stacy; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Blanche Gingo of Sandusky; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ruth (Tompkins) Hill; husband, Albert J. Lippus on Nov. 7, 1994; brother, Ernest Hill; and sister, Pauline Hill.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday in David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave, Sandusky. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. Saturday until services at 11 a.m. in First Christian Church, 3410 Hayes Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Donald Spurlock will officiate. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery, Sandusky.
