Henry H. Hohl, of Marblehead passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.
He is survived by his sister, Helen McGee of Sandusky; daughters and sons-in-law, Helen and Dan Capodice of Marblehead, JeanMarie and Gary Thompson of Norwalk and daughter-in-law, Sharon (Henry "Kip") Hohl of Livonia, Mich.; grandchildren and spouses, Matthew and Kellee Capodice, Tony Capodice, Thomas Thompson, Jeffery Thompson, Jennifer and William Davenport, Marie Teal, Timothy and Shannon Hohl and Julie and Cameron Sharp; stepgranddaughters and spouses, Lisa and Doug Zawisza and Kate and Bob Denman; 14 great-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; and a niece and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ilene (Young), sons Jan, Henry Jr. "Kip" and Charles; parents, John Henry and Mabel Hohl; his sister, Ada Mae (Mamie) Wargo; and a great-granddaughter.
Mr. Hohl retired as Superintendent of Cellulo Co. in Sandusky. During his retirement he enjoyed being a ham radio operator, wood carving, fishing and gardening. He lived most of his life in the Berlin Heights area.
There will be no visitation. Services will be private. Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
