Curtis M. Fast Jr., 68, of Flat Rock Road, Bellevue, passed away Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
He was born Oct. 31, 1938, in Fairmont, W.Va., the son of the now deceased Curtis M. Fast Sr. and Marie B. Ingram. He retired in 2000 from NS Railroad where he worked in the yard and was the manager at West View Estates, Bellevue. Curtis was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, a member of The Marine Corps League and The American Legion and attended Harvest Baptist Temple, Clyde.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Jean (Fisher) Fast, whom he married April 11, 1963, in Winfield, W.Va.; his son, Christopher Curtis Fast of Bellevue; daughter, Robyne Bernhardt of Lorain; grandchildren, Evan, Logan and Diamond Bernhardt.
In addition to his parents, his son, Curtis Clayton Fast, preceded him in death.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday in Foos and Son Funeral Home, 311 W. Main St., Bellevue, where services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow with Marine Corps League conducting military honors at Bellevue Cemetery.
