Services for Daniel T. Miller, 25, of Kirtland, Ohio, a roller coaster enthusiast, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Christian L.I.F.E. Church, 8250 Garfield Road, Mentor.
Dan died Aug. 30, 2007, in MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
Dan was born Nov. 30, 1981, in Euclid. He was a lifelong Lake County resident. He was a graduate of Eastlake North High School, class of 2000, where he was a member of the Thespian Society. He attended Ohio Business College and Lakeland Community College, where he was active in numerous clubs. He was also an active member of the Christian L.I.F.E. Church in Mentor. Dan was an avid roller coaster enthusiast, a member of ACE (the American Coaster Enthusiasts) and traveled the country touring amusement parks and doing research for a book he was writing about roller coasters.
Survivors include his mother, Tisha M. Campbell of Neenah, Wis.; and father, Warren C. Miller of Waite Hill Village; sister, Dorothy Viotto of Appleton, Wis.; and brothers, Timothy Miller of Willoughby Hills, Clark Miller of Eastlake and James Hines of Willowick; his aunt, Rosemary "Candy" Campbell of Euclid; three nieces and five nephews; his special friend, Angel Nash of Willoughby Hills; and his "other" grandmother, Louise Williams and her sister, "aunt" Clara, both of Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Titus and Dorothy Campbell; and paternal grandparents, Clark and June Miller.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Davis Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. The Rev. Dr. Donald Knipp, senior pastor of the Christian L.I.F.E. Church will officiate. Burial will be in Waite Hill Village Cemetery in Waite Hill.
