Mabel A. Koelsch, 97, of Huron, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 200, in Providence Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born June 28, 1910, in Maumee, Ohio, and had been a resident of Huron since 1959. She enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Adams of El Paso, Texas, and Barbara Kenne of Sandusky; 12 grandchildren, Nancy Kenne of Bowling Green, Karen (Jeff) Beers, Jackson, Mich., Craig (Amy) Kenne, Pamela (Timothy) Bressler and Roberta (Peter) Lopez, all of Sandusky, Todd (Shelly) Kenne of Norwalk, Kimberly (Robert) Bowers and Ann Chubak (Charles Siegel), both of Huron, Jeffrey (Robin) Koelsch, Scottsdale, Ariz., Thomas (Jean) Koelsch of Cherry Hill, N.J., Kristin (Michael) Wikel of Landenberg, Pa., and Susan (Paul) Behrendsen of Brighton, Mich.; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, C. Velma Moore and Doris Franks, both of Maumee.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William T. Koelsch in 1968; parents, August and Clara (Emch) Moore; sisters, Florence Viseur, Myrtle Allemeier and Minnie Brahier; a daughter, Patricia Chubak; and son, William P. Koelsch.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday in Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main St., Huron. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main St., Huron. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
