Renee Marie (Barbour) Roth , 47, born into this world Dec. 2, 1959, departed Aug. 25, 2007, after a brave and stellar seven-year fight against cancer. She died at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, granddaughter, daughter, sister, aunt, co-worker and friend. She was a very kind, caring, compassionate and loving person. She was willing to do whatever she could to provide care, service and worldly goods to others and expected nothing in return. She loved unconditionally her family, friends and all of those she came in contact with.
She held various jobs and worked in various occupations during the course of her life, working most recently as a phlebotomist for Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, until her retirement in February of 2006.
Her favorite activities included performing her duties as a home draw phlebotomist, cooking, camping, spending time with her family and watching TV.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Tim Roth Sr.; sons, Tim Jr. of Bowling Green and Justin of Columbus; granddaughter, Cadence R. Bailey of Louisa, Ky.; stepfather and mother, Robert and Barb King of Monroeville; father-in-law, R. Donald Roth of Sandusky; brothers, David (Sherry) Barbour of Monroeville and Kevin (Wendy) Rosser of Red Bluff, Calif.; several aunts, uncles and a great-aunt; brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is also survived by her biological family consisting of brothers, David (Linda) Katz of Huron, Donny (Jennifer) Kurth of Elyria and Larry and Allen Walton of Sandusky; biological sisters, Sharon Lawson of Sandusky, Betty (Bill) O'Connell of Amherst, Ohio, Tammy (Ron) Wilson of Sandusky and Pam (Donald) Hall of Lorain; brother-in-law, Jeff Weaver; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Vernon and Dorothy Barbour Sr. ; maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Ella Behrens; her biological family, father and mother, Donald and Goldie Walton Sr.; brother, Robert "Bobby" Walton; sister, Christine (Walton) Sullivan Weaver, and a sister in infancy.
At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation and a private family service will be at Meadow Green Memorial Park, where inurnment will talk place.
