Chad Daniel Francis, 32, of Bellevue, died Saturday morning, Aug. 18, 2007, in The Bellevue Hospital after an unexpected illness.
He was born Nov. 3, 1974, in Sandusky to Scott and Gayle Francis. He was a 1993 graduate of Bellevue High School. He was the group leader in the hydraulics department at American Baler Company. He married Wendy (McGilton) Feb. 17, 2001, at First United Methodist Church in Bellevue.
Chad was an avid golfer who had the pleasure of a hole-in-one this summer. He was a loving, proud father and husband whose smile lit up the room. Chad was also an enthusiastic Ryan Newman NASCAR fan and participated in many fantasy sports leagues. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 490.
Chad was loved by many and is survived by his wife, Wendy; stepson, Keagan Alexander Frey; son, Treston Daniel; daughters, Ireland Nicole and Makiah Rae; brother, Gregory (Dena) Francis, and sister, Melinda (Matthew) DePolo, both of Bellevue; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Grote and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Francis; two nephews; one niece; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Dalton Andrew Nesbit; and maternal grandmother, Marna Ann Grote.
Calling Hours will be from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Foos & Son Funeral Home; 311 W. Main St.; Bellevue. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, 901 Northwest St., Bellevue. Internment will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery in Lyme Twp.
