Eudora M. Roberts Campbell, 94, of Sandusky, died Friday morning, Aug. 17, 2007, in Erie County Care Facility.
She was born April 2, 1913, in Chicago and spent her early childhood in Findlay, Ohio. She was employed by the Ohio Veterans Home, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church, and loved to travel.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Tiller of Sandusky; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Green-Campbell of Sandusky; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria Roberts Brooks of Kansas City, Kan.; brother, Adelbert Roberts of Chicago; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Campbell Sr.; parents, Dolphin and Clarabelle (Newman) Roberts Sr.; daughters, Donna Turner and Shirley Clinchscales; son, John Campbell Jr.; brothers, Willis Roberts and Dolphin Roberts Jr.; and son-in-law, John Turner Sr.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. Tuesday until services at 1 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Curtis Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
