Lisa E. Long, 51, of 1722 Mills St., Sandusky, died Monday evening, Aug. 13, 2007, in University Hospitals of Cleveland after a brief illness.
She was born Nov. 25, 1955, in Sandusky, and was a 1974 graduate of Sandusky High School. She was a member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ, Sandusky, where she was active in church functions, especially the annual church rummage sale. Lisa was a former Girl Scout Leader and former member of the Madison School parent council. She was an avid gardener and loved to spend time with her grandson.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Glen E. Long; two daughters, Jami Long and Kari Long; one grandson, Anthony M. Shavers Jr.; her mother, Ruth E. Mischler; one sister, Linda (Paul) Scroggy; two nephews, Scott and Matt Scroggy, all of Sandusky; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father, Chester J. Mischler, in 2003; and her brother, Michael J. Mischler, in 2000.
Her family will receive friends from 10 a.m. Saturday until services at 11 a.m. in St. Stephen United Church of Christ, 905 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Ken Heinzelman will officiate.
