Louise M. (Leidorf) Kinn, 84, Sandusky, died Sunday evening, Aug. 12, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus.
She was born Sept. 10, 1922, in Venice, Ohio, and was a 1940 graduate of Margaretta High School. She was a homemaker and worked for the former New Departure Hyatt for a few years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sandusky, made wonderful pies and listened to Lawrence Welk and country music.
She is survived by her husband, John R. Kinn; daughter, Judy (James D.) Laws of Avon, Ohio; sons, Robert (Penny) Kinn and Gary Kinn, both of Sandusky; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Julianna MacGregor and Irene Sanders, both of Sandusky; and daughter-in-law, Anna Schoewe of Huron.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Quintin Schoewe; daughter, Dianne Schoewe; son, Edward Schoewe; grandchild, Mickey; parents, Louis and Rose (Hasley) Leidorf; sisters, Rosella Sturbaum, Frances Good, Pearl Riggs, Loretta Leidorf, Esther Greene and Ellen Stein; and brother, Leroy Leidorf.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where a prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
