Judith Rose Palmucci, 74, of Sandusky, died Friday morning, Aug. 10, 2007, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.
She was born Feb. 2, 1933, in Sandusky, the daughter of Clarence and Irma (Kammann) Jessee. She was employed by Good Samaritan Hospital, and then retired from the Ohio Veterans Home in 1993. Judith was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the IAB Club and the Communita Di San Marino Di Detroit. She enjoyed sewing, needlework and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her husband, Sebastian, whom she married Aug. 29, 1953; her daughter, Paula (Ken) Ward of Port Clinton; her son, Jeffrey Palmucci of Millersburg, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Zachary Kenne, Amanda and Dominic Palmucci.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Paul R. and Robert Jessee.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Sunday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where a funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Doug Garand officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
