Lloyd J. Balduff, 71, of 5309 Ohio 99 N., Monroeville, died late Thursday evening, Aug. 2, 2007, in his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept. 29, 1935, in Bellevue. Lloyd was employed for more than 40 years by the Norfolk Southern Rail Road prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Bellevue Eagles Aerie 490.
He is survived by two sons, Lloyd L. (Agnes) Balduff of Norwalk and Carl R. (Claudia) Balduff of Monroeville; three daughters, Lerenda M. (Rick) Thomas of Castalia, Melissa (Tom) Greathouse of Republic and Tracy Balduff of Bellevue; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Smith of Norwalk; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie R. Balduff on Feb. 2 of this year; one daughter, Lerenda Faye Balduff in 1954; his parents, Lloyd and Retta (Richards) Balduff; and three sisters.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe St., Monroeville, where services will be 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Dr. Wayne Chasney will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Monroeville.
