Corrine N. Lange, 100, of Sandusky, died Friday evening, July 27, 2007, in Parkvue Health Care Center, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
She was born June 23, 1907, in Fremont, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Malvina (Waggoner) Keefer, and was a 1925 Ross High School graduate. After moving to Sandusky in 1938, she was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was active in the Women of the Church Organization. She was also a past member of the Sandusky Yacht Club and its auxiliary.
Surviving are nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters; three brothers; her late husband, Arthur Lange, who died in April 1987; and her first husband, Richard Knupke, who was killed in 1945 serving in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Indianapolis during World War II.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visiting hours. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with the Rev. John Mawhirter officiating. Burial will follow in Castalia Cemetery.
