Tyrone Beverly, 53, of Sandusky, died Monday, July 23, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
Tyrone was born May 3, 1954, in Cleveland, and moved to Sandusky in 2002. He was a member of Kingdom Lifestyle Worship Center, Sandusky. He was very attentive in church and loved reading his bible.
He loved sports, especially the Cavs, Browns and Indians, fishing, raising birds and spending time with his family, especially the children.
He is survived by his wife, Connie (Hicks) Beverly of Sandusky; daughter, Melissa Crenshaw of Cleveland; grandchildren, Mariah Sampson and Ira Sampson Jr., both of Cleveland; stepdaughter, Dawn Hicks of Sandusky; stepson, Demond Hicks of Sandusky; step-grandchildren, Keyana Hicks and Devont Lanier, both of Sandusky; special mom, Alexine Hicks of Sandusky; sisters-in-law, Jacquelyn (Prentiss) Kitchens and Deborah (Donald) Robinson, both of Sandusky; brothers-in-law, Terry (Brenda) Hicks of Trotwood and Rodney Hicks of Sandusky; special brothers, Clyde Green and Frederic Hearn, both of Sandusky and Stan Gruhlke of Castalia; and other relatives and friends.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. Friday until services at 1 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Veno Kuhl will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
