Michael K. Seeholzer, 45, of Arizona and formerly of Kelleys Island, died unexpectedly July 16, 2007.
He was born Dec. 27, 1961, in Sandusky. He graduated from Kelleys Island School in 1979. He was a roofer for many years, working for Riedy Roofing and Phinney Roofers.
He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, where he served as an altar boy for 12 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Seeholzer of Sandusky; and his mother, Patricia (Greeney) Seeholzer of Kelleys Island; two sisters, Debbie (Gary) Phillips and Karen (Frank) Baker, both of Sandusky; two brothers, Jim (Jude) Seeholzer of Huron and Chris Seeholzer of Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews, Patrick, Devin and Kathleen Phillips, Ryan and Kyle Baker, Kelley, Dana and Abbey Seeholzer and Chad Seeholzer.
His father, James "Jim" Hugo Seeholzer, preceded him in death Feb. 14, 2003.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. Friday until services at 11 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, Kelleys Island, with the Rev. Nick Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Kelleys Island Cemetery.
