Raynelle James Hulin Sr., 59, of Cleveland and formerly of Sandusky and Norwalk, passed away Monday, July 16, 2007, in the Cleveland Clinic.
Beloved father and grandfather, he was born July 24, 1947, in Sandusky, to Arty and Thelma Hulin, now deceased. He was the first of four children. He graduated from Sandusky High School in 1966, where he excelled in basketball and played football. He attended Firelands Community College, where he also played basketball. Raynelle married twice, first to Karen Bowman with whom he had three children and then to Deana Garvin with whom he had four children. He lived in California where he worked for Warner Brothers; Las Vegas; Norwalk, where he assisted in coaching basketball and football; and Sandusky. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Norwalk and later, Ebenezer Baptist Church in Sandusky.
Raynelle leaves to mourn his death and cherish his memory, his children, David, Almira, Anita, Jacqueline, Raynell Jr., Angela and DeRon; grandchildren, Dorien, Shianna and Zaviyon; and numerous relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Almira "Mambo," Sandra and Candice.
A wake will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where services will be 11 a.m. Condolences may be sent to toftfh.com.
