Ronnie G. Freeman, 50, of Greenwich, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, in his home.
He was born Nov. 26, 1956, in Sandusky, and has lived in the Greenwich area for 15 years. He was a mechanic by trade. He was a member of the Norwalk Eagles Aerie 711 and the NRA. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved motorcycles, camping and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Dinah (Taylor); his mother, Pearl (Payne) Grosch of Huron; daughters, Dawn Freeman of Monroeville, Shawn (David) Key of Monroeville, Pepper (Pelmer) Owens of New London and Michelle (Quinn) Thomas of Collins; a son, Ronnie (Cheryl) Freeman Jr. of Norwalk; a sister, Darlene Brown of Vermilion; brothers, Raymon (Sandra) Freeman of Vermilion and Lonnie "Wayne" (Mary) Freeman of Wellington; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Garland "Bud" Freeman.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South St., Berlin Heights. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Temple at the corner of Ohio 113 and Arlington Road near Berlin Heights. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenwich.
