Beulah M. Cooper, 81, of Whites Landing, died Monday morning, July 16, 2007, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born May 3, 1926, in Sandusky and was a life-member of the Perrysville VFW Auxiliary. She was employed for 21 years by Miller Drug Co., and was an avid camper in the Loudonville, Ohio, area.
Beulah is survived by her husband, James S. Cooper, to whom she was married 63 years Jan. 20; a son, Ronald S. Cooper of Castalia; a daughter, Diane (James) Babcock of Sandusky; four grandsons, Steve and Brian Cooper and Scott and Matthew (Kristina) Blevins; a stepgrandson, John Stein; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Benjamin (Darlene) Lauber of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Allen Cooper; her parents, Carl and Pauline Lauber; her stepparents, Robert Bluhm and Elsie Lauber; a sister, Peggy Martin; and two great-grandchildren, Brooke Ashley Cooper and Garrett Jackson Blevins.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. Friday until services at 11 a.m. at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
