Charles Ervin Gray, 43, of Sandusky, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, July 13, 2007.
He was born May 26, 1964, in Port Clinton. He was a 1982 graduate of Margaretta High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army for 12 years. He was employed by Reynolds Machinery.
He is survived by his wife, Denise (Knecht), whom he married in 1994; parents, Charles Edward and Edith (Newport) Gray of Castalia; sister, LaVene (Mark) Lohrbach of Clarksville, Tenn.; brother, Charles Miller of Citra, Fla.; niece, Amber Lohrbach; two nephews, Brett Lohrbach and Charles Miller; grandfather, William May of Dayton, Ohio; mother and father-in-law, Gerald and Margaret Keiper of Pennsylvania; and sister-in-law, Kathy Knecht of Pennsylvania.
Private family services will be Tuesday, with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Groff Funeral Home, Sandusky, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of National City Bank, Sandusky.
