Bruce A. Ayle, 73, of Sandusky, died early Saturday morning, July 14, 2007, in Briarfield of Milan after a brief illness.
He was born Nov. 24, 1933, in Franklin County, Ohio, the son of Eli A. and Ethel (Margaret) Ayle, now deceased. He was a 1952 graduate of Sandusky High School, served in the U.S. Army, and retired in 1995 from Tenneco Automotive after 30 years of service. Bruce was a member of the Gold Wing Roadriders Association, Chapter 5, the Sandusky Conservation League and the Bellevue Post of the American Legion. He enjoyed motorcycling, hunting and travel.
His sisters, Mrs. John (Nancy) Viviano of Sandusky and Mrs. Wayne (Martha) Miller of Castalia; and several nieces and nephews, survive him.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Kathleen Suggitt of Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
