It is truly the saddest and most painful time of our lives to know of the passing of Lyn. A wonderful, loving wife and mother, Lyn, 74, passed away peacefully June 27, 2007, in Sandusky.
She was born Oct. 20, 1932, to Paul and Emma (May) Fuller and was a long-time resident of Middle Bass Island. "Mom was a special, classy, gracious woman who loved life more than most." She figured out how to love others and they would follow.
She and husband, Richard "Dick" David had more than 50 years of marriage and a long-time love affair, knowing that "life is too short." She is truly missed. Lyn was from the Rocky River, Ohio, area and graduated from Ohio Wesleyan with several degrees.
Lyn, "Mom" spelled upside down is "wow," is survived by her son, Paul (Kay) David; and daughter, Lynda David. Her exuberance for life and giving has touched many people. She will never be forgotten and is loved by many.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Aug. 10, 2007, during Barbershop Quartets weekend (one of her most treasured events) at Lonz's Hill, Middle Bass Island, Ohio. Services will be performed by her barbershop group, Yesteryear.
At Lyn's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be sent to the Jeffrey Verhoff Scholarship fund, c/o The Board Of Education at Put-In-Bay, OH 43456.
Arrangements were handled by Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, Sandusky.
