Claude Fee, 79, of Bellevue, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, July 10, 2007, in Bellevue Hospital.
He was born Dec. 8, 1927, in Liggett, Ky. Claude was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II, and was retired from the Ford Motor Co., Lorain. He attended the New Freedom Gospel Church in Vermillion. Claude enjoyed spending time with his family and church friends and especially his dog, Rufus.
Claude is survived by his wife, Mary (Bodnar) Fee of Vermillion; daughters, Faye (Ernie) Cobb of Bellevue and Sandy (Phil) Rettig of Grover Hill; grandchildren, Francy and Kurt Roberts, Allen, Pam and Nick Fee, and Frank and Jimmy Barta; 10 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Colette (Jack Jr.) Krill, Chris Stoll, Connie (Mike) Werner and Chuck (Traci) Stoll, all of Vermillion; and nine step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leander and Emma Fee; sons, Jack and Larry Fee; one sister; and three brothers.
Friends will be received from noon Friday until services at 2 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave, Sandusky. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
