Beulah R. Schiefley, 78, of Port Clinton, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, in Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton.
She was born June 13, 1929, in Baileyton, Tenn., the daughter of Robert C. and Flora (Underhill) Tunnell, now deceased. On July 23, 1949, she married Frederick J. "Fritz" Schiefley and he preceded her in death May 8, 2000.
Beulah was employed at Matthews Boat Company and retired in 1990 from Toledo Edison-Davis Besse after many years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, loved playing cards at the senior center and was an avid reader.
Surviving are her daughter, Bonnie (Dave) Schlagheck of Toledo; son, Paul (Kathy) Schiefley of Scottsburg, Ind.; four granddaughters, Kelly Telzrow, Laura Schiefley, and Shelby and Shannon Schlagheck; and two great-grandchildren, Mitchell and Jaxson Gillespie.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, George and Delbert Tunnell; and sister, Frances Lucas.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, where prayer services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Port Clinton. The Rev. John C. Missler will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
